Gorgeous saxophone

January 28, 2023

Dear Ms. Lowenstein,

Thank you for your generous donation of a Yamaha Saxophone to Care-to-Share. Words are not enough to express our gratitude. Without you, it would be very difficult for us to get such a top quality instrument that values around $4,000, at least.

As a volunteer based organization, it is heartwarming for us to find supporters like you. Through the generosity of our donors and volunteers, like yourself, Care-to-Share is able to make a difference in children’s lives. Last week alone, we reached out to two siblings from the Boston area- an 8 year old girl with autism, Bella, and her 7 year old sister, Ariella, and welcomed them to the Care-to-Share family. They had their very first lesson yesterday and learned how to play melodies on xylophones, and Bella practiced speech using sounds attached to colors. Their joy throughout the lesson was inspiring. It is children like Bella and Ariella who make our work meaningful and necessary to make a difference in the world.

In order to make the best use of the saxophone you donated, we are currently looking for somebody to teach saxophone as we start to add more contemporary instruments to our portfolio.

On behalf of Care-to-Share, we thank you and let you know we are deeply appreciative. Your generosity and commitment are invaluable to our mission, and we are proud to call you part of our donor family.

Sincerely,

Michael J. Farquharson
